 | Europe SIM Card - $ 19.00 When you already own a GSM-compatible phone that will work in Europe, the next thing you need is a European Sim card. With the Sim from CallinEurope you pay a one-time $19.00 fee and after receiving this card with a new European number you are ready to make and receive calls. The bulk of incoming calls in France are absolutely free, while the outgoing ones are very-very competitive. You may also keep your current US or Canadian phone number with this Sim card and everyone will be able to continue to call you on your local telephone and will reach you wherever you are without paying long distance calls.

HOW CALL IN EUROPE WORKSNot all mobile phones work outside the U.S. and Canada because European countries use a different network configuration and some North American service providers "lock" their phones to prevent users from inserting SIM cards from other carriers. In all cases, however, our solution is simple and fast:
Customers using GSM carriers (T-Mobile, AT&T, Rogers, or Fido) will need a tri-band or quad-band cell phone that has been unlocked so they can install a European SIM card1 Once the phone has been unlocked, SIM cards can be switched in just a few seconds.
Customers using CDMA/IDEN carriers (Verizon, Sprint/Nextel, Alltel, Telus, Bell, Aliant, Sasktel, or MTS) will need to purchase a GSM-compatible phone, since their phones typically will not work in Europe2 In this case, CIE sells travel kits starting at $48 that include a GSM-compatible cell phone and SIM card. All our phones include a battery, an electrical adapter, an AC power charger, and an English-language user manual.
In either case, we will deliver a customized mobile solution directly to your office or home in as little as 24 hours.
With our "Keep My Number" service, users can forward their calls from U.S. or Canadian cell or office phones to their CIE-enabled European cell phone for a smal additional fee. Phone Requirements: our SIM Cards and service require an unlocked GSM 900/ 1800/ 1900 or a GSM 850/ 900/ 1800/ 1900 compatible cell phone. If you do not have your own unlocked GSM phone or are not sure if your GSM phone is unlocked please visit our « Phone Selection » page.
